@SimoneReyes is an amazingly wonderful woman! She Has worked with Russell Simmons the god-father of hip-hop for over 24 years…(Yet looking at her you would never have guessed!!!) She is dedicated to the love and ethical treatment of animals (She works closely with PETA.) She has posed for the @NOH8Campaign and is just one amazing person. Through everything she stays dedicated to veganism and animal rights in general. She recently discovered that she had a “pre-cancerous growth”. This is what I want to talk about. With all the good that she has done.. With everything that she does to take care of herself.. She still could have cancer. I strongly believe in the fight for animal rights and despise animal testing, but this is proof to me that cancer can Affect ANYONE!!! It’s not just meat eaters (Which I am not saying is something that Simone said.) I have heard alot of animal activists claim that they are less likely to have cancer. That may be the case, but isn’t it more ipmortant that you get tested and scanned than to fight over who is more likely to have the disease?!? I think Simone has shown us that. I have seen Many of my family members die of cancer. So again… Let’s not fight about who is more likely to have it.. LET’S GET TESTED!!!

Today is World AIDS Day. Please get tested or get your friends tested. Knowing your status SOOO important. If you are HIV positive and/or have AIDS and you don’t know you can be just another link in chain-reaction that hurts many people. You could spread HIV to many others by only physicaly spreading it to one person. If you have HIV and/or AIDS you must ALWAYS share your status with your sexual partners. If you knowingly spread HIV too someone and did not tell them your status before the sexual enconter you can be legaly prosecuted (<—- Spelling?)

Please always use a condom, get tested, encourage your friends to get tested, and share your status BEFORE SEXUAL ENCOUNTERS!!!

So… the band idea changed alot. Now I have a drummer and we have agreed to work towards more of a pop-punk/ All Time Low sort of sound. This should be VERY interesting, but I’m not too worried since I listen to all types of music. :)

P.s. No this will not be an All Time Low cover/tribute band! Just a band influenced slightly by their work.

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted. So… Let’s get caught up! ;) Alabama is pissing me off. The citizens elected a man proven to be a liar, he’s not qualified and was elected solely based on “celebrity”(How he can be considered a celeb. idk because he was a dermatologist in tuscaloosa, so people knew who he was..? I guess..?) and that he doesn’t like Obama. Not because he expressed any real ideas about how to get our state’s economy back on track. Now, moving on…

   I’m starting a band. I need help. I would like to have a blues/rock/jazz kind of sound but I’m willing to compromise since I love all music. :)

But I have guidelines:

1) Racism is not tolerated- heritage is heritage and as a person that is technicaly multi-racial I will whip your ass.

2) Homophobia is not tolerated- I’m gay… Further explanation shouldn’t be needed.

3) Religious prejudice is unacceptable- I love everyone who is willing to accept it. :)

So as I see it If there is going to be a intnl quran burning day we should also allow for a bible burning day. As well as a Book of Mormon burning day. To assume that just because there are muslims out there that completely disagree w/ the radical muslims does not mean that they will support your idea to burn there holy book. So… If I see the quran being burned anywhere near me I will set the bible ablaze. I am a christian, but I believe in respect to ALL religions. One love! One heart! We are all siblings. I do not believe that it is right to use blanket punishment on a group of people who ,aside from the radicals, are a peaceful loving people. If you can proudly burn the quran then I have no hesitation towards setting the holy bible on fire. 09/11/2010 Is for reflection. Not for creating a day of hatred. There were inocent people of all religions in the twin towers! I am proud to say I support the community center!(yes community center. Because in all actuality it is not a mosque. It is the same as the jewish community centers and the christian life centers.)(Plus it’s not even at ground zero! It’s 3 blocks away!!!!!!!!!!!!) Please speak up for equality amongst all of the religions in the United States of America.
